TL;DR *Hand Mouth Kissing Sounds* BELLA GELATO OMG YOU ARE SO YUMMY IN MY TUMMY. The small scoop IS HUGE. Do not fear the 5.5$ price just GET IT. The flavours are EYE WIDENING and fantastic. I highly recommend this place. I heard it is closed in the winter!
Service (5/5*)
Very friendly woman at the cashier and was very nice! It's just her... but she is very nice :)))
Gelato (4/5*)
I have found the true texture of true gelato and this is the place. I have tried the pistacio, zuppa inglese (english triffle, cranberry, orange zest and homemade sponge cake), and my favourite of all time, mint chocolate icecream!
The Pistacio is sO BEAUTIFULTHIS IS A MUST GET IT TASTES EXACTLY LIKE PISTACIO!!!
The Zuppa Inglese is very, very, amazing. Simple. This is a must try. I love english triffle and the fruit flavours that elevated such a simple flavour was simply EXTRAVAGENT.
The mint chocolate however caught me off guard, after the two power houses, I was disappointed that it wasn't as minty as I'd like it, which is okay. The texture of gelato was still there and that's what's important.
These guys care about their gelato and that everything is consistent and consistency in a city as Toronto is quite frankly, very hard to find. I appreciate you guys.
Thanks for having me! I hope to come again and enjoy new flavours I have yet to try! -

5 stars for being the only gelato place I have ever been to that has over 20 non-dairy flavours.
Besides having a great sorbet dairy free selection, there's now also a large soy based selection.
There's a reason why there's always a massive line up, but rest assured, the line moves quick, and if you ask for a sample, they'll smile and they won't be annoyed. -

La Paloma Gelateria serves up some awesome Gelato in Corso Italia. This is authentic gelato and it shows!
There were so many varieties to choose from but I couldn't help but to go for the favourite in pistachio (and coffee which my friend chose). The consistency and texture of the gelato was amazing. It super super creamy and rich. Neither was overly sweet and just the way it should be. But I did feel the pistachio could have been more intense in flavour. Prices were reasonable and they were very generous with their portions. The gelato was heaping from the cup!
However, I was not too impressed by the fact they made you pay first AND limited you to three samples when you paid. It's understandable but it seems a bit too restrictive when we already knew we were going to get gelato here from the moment we stepped in. -

While the gelato is tasty the customer service is nothing to write home about. The servers are never friendly, the don't greet you or even use common manners. The server with blonde hair today around 9:30p.m. did not even look at my husband and i while giving us our product..she just held out her hand and stared at her coworker. I have been there 3 times because the gelato is very good, but was incredibly turned off by the blonde haired staff's attitude problem and will likely take by business elsewhere.
Dont expect any customer service -

Dairy-free people of the world: they have added a few soy gelato flavours including a superb chocolate and a heavenly hazelnut. GO GET IT!
